Oooh boy! I am SO excited to share this session! Like, I’ve never been more excited to share any photos ever! Over the weekend, my good friend, Janea Soliven of j&a Makeup Artistry was heading up to Orlando to stay at my house to attend the makeup show in Orlando on Monday. We don’t often have a chance to work together, so we decided to take advantage! I’ve been wanting to do a “just-for-me” shoot for ages, but have never been able to pull it together. On Sunday afternoon, the pieces magically came together to create this themed session.

I got my inspiration from that ginormous bow headband that our model, Elizabeth West is wearing. My best friend got it for me years ago, and ever since I started my photography business, I’ve wanted to do a kind of dark Alice in Wonderland session with it. This was a very loose interpretation.. we just kind of used it to jumpstart everything, and the rest of it just fell into place.

I have many, many photos to share from this session, but will go ahead and kick things off with our fun little set up. I love how whimsical it is! :)
